Originally from Alaska, Dr. Taylor Samse grew up loving the outdoors and eventually made his way to the University of Iowa for dental school. While he initially wasn’t sure what to expect from working with children, that quickly changed once he discovered how much he enjoyed helping young patients.
Inspired by his fiancée, Katie Wolter, to give pediatric dentistry a try, he found that working with kids was right up his alley! He loves creating a fun, positive experience for his patients and helping them feel comfortable and confident at the dentist.
And when it comes to fun facts? Dr. Taylor Samse is a former Iowa State Armwrestling Champion,so kids might have to challenge him to a rematch!
Hobbies
When he’s not in the office, you’ll probably find Dr. Taylor Samse watching movies, snowboarding, or working out. He especially loves horror movies, comedies, and, best of all, horror comedies.
He’ll happily spend a day outdoors, but if there’s a great movie playing, the movie is probably going to win!
